About me

Karen works at Moving Interactive building exciting digital products. She used to lead the distributed Open Source Team from Peru, maintaining the Scrum Master role in various projects for the department. Now she works full-time as a Project Manager/Product Owner in the Constellation Energy account. She has been involved in websites like Craft Club, Shelf Life Advice, RD.com, Prize Digest, Constellation for Residential Homes with others to come.

Previously, Karen had worked at IBM Peru as a PMO in the PAS team (SAP support services), where she comunicated directly with clients such as Pesquera Exalmar, EXSA, SOLDEXA and Yanbal

1. Her first website was done in 1997 (and it was a Dragon Ball fansite!)
2. Learned her english by reading books (mostly) from the Goosebumps series
3. Likes to paint and knit… though she is not very good at it
4. Knows how to read tarot cards
5. Loves nature, but hates camping… and BUGS!
6. Can stay amused playing with a jigsaw puzzle for hours on end
7. Only cooks when in “survival” mode (there is nothing to eat and delivery is not available) Now she live alone and has to cook for herself. Which is why she came up with QueCocinoHoy.pe
